NBS: the cement output from January to February was 150 million tons, a decrease of 29.5% year-on-ye

  On March 16th, NBS(the National Bureau of Statistics) released the situation of national economy from January to February. According to the data, the national cement output was 149.98 million tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 29.5%.

  According to the big data of cement, from the absolute level of output scale, the cement output from January to February this year is the lowest in the same period after 2008. Due to the 2019-nCoV outbreak, cement output and sales have been hit hard in February. However, despite all this, Cement Big Data Research Institute believes that the proportion of cement output in January and February is low. This is a low season for demand, and high-demand season will be late but not absent, and the total annual output is expected to remain relatively stable. According to the data from last week, the average shipment volume in the East China market has gradually recovered to 50%, and this week is expected to accelerate the recovery.

  The Investment in National Fixed Asset

  From January to February, the investment in national fixed asset (excluding rural household) was 3332.3 billion yuan, dropped by 24.5% year-on-year. The private fixed asset investment was 1893.8 billion yuan with a decrease of 26.4% year-on-year.   The Investment in the Real Estate

  From January to February, the investment in national real estate development was 1011.5 billion yuan, down by 16.3% year-on-year. The residential investment was 731.8 billion yuan, down by 16%. The space of buildings under construction of the real estate development enterprises was 6942.41 million m2, with year-on-year growth of 2.9%. The space of residential buildings under construction reached 4876.54 million m2, increased by 4.6 percent. The space of construction starts was 103.7 million m2, down by 44.9%. The space of residential construction starts was 75.59 million m2, down by 44.4%. The space of buildings completed was 96.36 million m2, down by 22.9%. The space of residential buildings completed was 67.61 million m2, a decrease of 24.3%.

  The Investment in Infrastructure

  The investment in infrastructure (excluding production and supply industries of electric power, heating power, gas and water) dropped by 30.3% year-on-year. The investment in water conservancy management dropped by 28.5%; the investment in public facility management dropped by 32.1%; the investment in road transportation dropped by 28.9%; the investment in railway transportation dropped by 31.7%.
